Brad Evarts, creator of Cilantros Restaurant on Via de la Valle, Del Mar 1987, Epazote, Atop the Del Mar Plaza 1989 and Chesapeake Seafood Restaurant of Encinitas 1999, brings another award winning restaurant with the Yellow Coyote Tortilla Factory.

Carlsbad now has it own "Old Town Mexico". The Mexican inspired food and décor gives you one of California’s most incredible dining experience. Enjoy the alluring atmosphere created by beautiful fountains, fireplaces and candles and savor the food inspired by the recipes from the Pacific Shoreline of Jaliscio.

Yellow Coyote’s Chef is the masterful Felipe Gonzalez. Felipe trained in San Francisco at the California Culinary Academy. He spent 11 years at the Wine Sellar & Brasserie and Laurel and most recently at the Zuni Cafe in San Francisco before coming to the Yellow Coyote. Brad’s mother, Mary, and Murphy his Yellow Lab, also assist Evarts and Gonzalez.

The Margaritas are out of this world, even better then those Evarts created at Cilantros and Epazote. The Yellow Coyote is for everybody celebrating all occasions. The Yellow Coyote is very Children and Dog friendly, so is Murphy!
